 Thanks to the abundance of spring moisture and hard work from golf maintenance, the Telluride Golf Course opened for play Friday, May 25, with the best early season playing conditions in years. The 18-hole, par-70 spectacular Telluride course is located 9,500 feet above sea level and provides challenging holes, breathtaking panoramas and 15 percent more ball distance than at sea level.

The Sunset Concert Series hosts FREE Concerts in Sunset Plaza in Telluride Mountain Village all summer long. Every Wednesday Night from 6pm to 8pm-- July 11th to September 12th FUN IN THE SUN!

Please remember to wear sunscreen -- the Colorado sun is extremely strong, especially at 9500 feet. Remember to bring mosquito repellent to ward off mosquitoes.
No alcohol beverages or bottles are permitted on the lawn, but you can purchase alcoholic beverages at 9545, Poachers, La Piazza, Skiers Union, or Tracks and sit outside on their outdoor patios. Dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.

Featuring the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Leo Nocentelli with Little Hercules

The festival capital of Colorado will host the 3rd Annual Telluride Cajun Festival, Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Base of Chair 4 in the Mountain Village on the Lower Misty Maiden Trail. The Telluride Cajun Festival is a one day festival bringing N'awlins to Telluride with Funk bands and N'awlins cuisine. The 2007 Headliner will be the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Also on the bill is Leo Nocentelli with Little Hercules. Keeping the groove going between acts will be DJ Smothered in Cheddar. Tasty New Orleans cuisine by Fat Alley BBQ including Po' Boys, Jambalaya, Crawfish Boil, Meat Pies, Amstel Light and Tasty drinks by Bacardi and Cazadores.
