We have ended a terrific ski season with a bang. Telluride received 16 inches of snow in our last week of the ski season, bringing the total season's snowfall to 351 inches! The days are now longer and warmer as we thaw out this Spring.
 Big winters mean big rivers, so book your summer trip today and come enjoy the exciting rafting that will take place!
The rafting outfitters begin the third week in May when we will kick off our summer season on May 23 with the Mountainfilm
Festival in Telluride and the opening of the Telluride Golf Course. Jazz Festival, usually in August, has moved to sunny
June. There is a new festival this year in July—the Telluride Yoga Festival. We have a festival for everyone this summer,
so be sure to check out our Summer Calendar of Events below and reserve your lodging for your favorite festival before we

Let's face it, given the present state of the US economy and the daily bombardment of print and television reports showcasing the meltdown in the mortgage industry in this country, many buyers remain tentative. This is completely understandable and not at all surprising. Telluride property owners have always represented some of the worlds' most sophisticated and intelligent business professionals. A handful of these clients have recognized this may be one of the best opportunities to identify exceptional values in Telluride's historically strong and stable growing market. Telluride has weathered these storms in the past and will undoubtedly weather this period in our slowing economy. One major contributing factor to our future growth is the introduction of the foreign investor. Numerous business owners and front line employees have reported an increase in the number of foreign visitors this past season. The majority of these visitors are seeing value in US real estate given the weakening US dollar. The completion of projects such as Capella Telluride and their ensuing global marketing efforts will undoubtedly bring with it a clientele we have never actively persued. Now is a great time to buy in Telluride! Those who do will surely benefit in what is being referred to as the "post Capella" Telluride.
