Elevation Vacations is pleased to announce that Paul Zabel has joined the company as a co-owner and chief operating officer. Paul brings with him an extensive 17-year business background with specific expertise in the Telluride region's property management and real estate markets. His experience includes having shaped some of Telluride's most impressive property management successes.

Most notably, Paul became an owner of Alpine Lodging in 1997, and subsequently helped grow that company's sales from $700,000 to $3.8 million in five years. During his tenure, Alpine increased its inventory from 40 units to 160 units, acquired Telluride.com, and added a real estate division, as well as a travel agency. Paul sold his interest in Alpine Lodging & Real Estate in 2005, and, having acquired his real estate broker's license in 2004, quickly parlayed his local contacts and insights to over $33 million in listings within one year.

At Elevation Vacations, Paul will once again turn his complete focus to the resort accommodations business on behalf of this company's clients. "I think that is where the opportunity is in this market, at this time, and I am pleased to join a company that represents the best properties in the region," said Zabel. "My goals are fairly straightforward: I want to increase sales for our owners, equalize inventory for the company between town and Mountain Village, and set a new standard of service for guests and owners alike. Many current Elevation Vacations clients will remember me for having worked with them in the past, so I am excited to pick up where we left off; I'm looking forward to proving my value with the others. They all have my undivided attention."
