About Telluride and Mountain Village
Historic Telluride sits in a beautiful box canyon at the foot of the ski mountain with dramatic in-your-face views of the mountains that surround on three sides. This historic mining town is now on the National Register of Historic Places and features an eclectic mix of restored Victorian mansions, funky old mining shacks, and boutique hotels. Telluride's abundance of fine dining and night life appeals to the adult crowd but Town Park, schools, art galleries and genuine uniqueness makes this town attractive also to kids of all ages.
Mountain Village is at the base of the ski mountain and surrounds the golf resort, with wide open breathtaking views of the ski area and surrounding mountains and abundant wildlife and things to do, this is a great vacation spot for families.
