Winter Snowfest in Telluride - January 13th-16th.
2006 Winter SnowFest, the Town of Mountain Village and Telluride Ski Resort are excited to host the 2nd Annual Winter Snowfest in Mountain Village, Colorado. Visit the official website for more information.
Most of the Winter SnowFest activities take place in Heritage Plaza and are FREE. Friday, Jan 13th a beautiful fireworks and torchlight parade, Saturday, Jan 14th the Hula Moon Snowshoe Race and Heat Miser Party, Sunday, Jan 15th Snowmobile Jumping and Monday, Jan 16th après ski party at Tracks Restaurant. The Telluride AIDS Benefit ("TAB") is a non-profit grass-roots organization committed to raising awareness in our local communities about the global pandemic of HIV/AIDS. The primary purpose of TAB is to generate financial support for HIV education programs and for client care in Western Colorado via the Western Colorado AIDS Project. TAB also provides funds to the Immunodeficiency Program at Denver Children's Hospital, Brother Jeff's Health Initiative and to the Telluride Project in Manzini, Swaziland. TAB sponsors local education workshops including peer training on HIV/AIDS, STDs, discrimination and safe sex practices for Middle/High School students.

Shawn Colvin benefit concert for TCTV

Grammy Award Winning singer/songwriter Shawn Colvin will be performing a concert to benefit Telluride Community Television Public Access Channel 12. Buy tickets now!
Shawn will be performing selections from her new CD to be released this spring along with many of her original favorites and distinctive covers. This event is co-sponsored by the Michael D. Palm Theatre. There will be a silent auction in the lobby of the theatre starting at 6pm. The show will open at 7pm with performances by local singer/songwriters featured on the up coming Telluride Row II CD and DVD documentary, a TCTV co-production. These will be followed by student musicians from the Telluride Rock and Roll Academy performing a few songs.
